ALT+LEAD is committed to protecting your privacy and maintaining the security of your nonpublic personal information.
This Privacy Policy sets forth the manner in which ALT+LEAD may collect, utilize and maintain nonpublic information about clients, as required under federal and other applicable law. ALT+LEAD is committed to protecting privacy and maintaining the confidentiality and security of clients’ personal information.

Collection of Information
ALT+LEAD may collect personal information about clients from the following sources:
Client questionnaires and other information provided by the client in writing, in person, by telephone, electronically or by any other means. This information may include name, address, employment information, financial and investment qualifications as applicable
Disclosure of Nonpublic Personal Information
ALT+LEAD does not disclose nonpublic personal information about clients or potential clients to affiliates or nonaffiliated third parties except as permitted by law. For example, ALT+LEAD may share nonpublic personal information about clients, without the client’s consent, with affiliated and nonaffiliated parties in the following situations, among others:
was in the ALT+LEAD’s possession prior to its being furnished by the client;
is generally known to the public or in the client’s industry;
is obtained by the ALT+LEAD from a third party, without breach of any obligation to the client;
is independently developed by the ALT+LEAD without use of or reference to the client’s confidential information;
ALT+LEAD is required by statute, lawfully issued subpoena, or by court order to disclose;
is disclosed to ALT+LEAD and as a result of such disclosure ALT+LEAD reasonably believes there to be an imminent or likely risk of danger or harm to the client or others; and
involves illegal activity
To further your personal right to privacy you have these additional rights:
the right to know what personal information is being collected about you;
the right to know whether your personal information is sold or disclosed and to whom;
the right to stop the sale of personal information;
the right to have collected personal information deleted; and
the right not to be discriminated against for exercising your rights.
To the extent permitted by law, you have the right to opt-out of our disclosing nonpublic personal information to nonaffiliated third parties by contacting us at hello@altlead.co or 917.914.9114. We will without charge comply with your request within 45 days or sooner and not later than 90 days when due to the complexity of the request.
Former and Prospective Clients
This same Privacy Policy applies to former and prospective clients.
Protection of Subscriber Information
ALT+LEAD maintains physical, electronic and procedural safeguards that comply with federal standards to protect client information. ALT+LEAD restricts access to the personal information of clients to those staff members who need to know that information in the course of their job responsibilities in order to provide ALT+LEAD’s services.
SMS Conversational Texting Policy
At ALT+LEAD, we value your privacy and make every effort to respect your wishes and personal information. In line with this commitment, we have established this policy for the use of SMS conversational texting by staff, clients and vendors.
ALT+LEAD texting is limited to conversational texting only, to and from, ALT+LEAD-issued phone numbers. ALT+LEAD employees may not text with staff, clients or vendors from personal, non-firm provided, phone numbers.
The Firm DOES NOT use, or allow SMS text messaging for solicitations or promotions.
No orders for any financial instruments may be accepted via text.
ALT+LEAD DOES NOT share phone numbers with any third-party vendors or affiliates for marketing purposes.
No mobile information will be shared with third parties/affiliates for marketing/promotional purposes. All other categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties

Collection of Phone Numbers
We collect your phone number(s) only when you voluntarily provide them to us, for example, during inquiries to staff via text, or when you sign up to participate in SMS conversational texting with staff. You can opt in to receive SMS conversational text messages from ALT+LEAD staff by initiating a conversation via texting a staff member directly on their business line or by completing an opt-in form on this website.
Use of Phone Numbers for SMS Conversational Text Messaging
Your phone numbers are used to facilitate quick and easy conversations, meeting updates, etc. between you and ALT+LEAD staff. These text messages may relate to our services, or any updates that individual staff members think may impact you. SMS text messaging charges may be applied by your carrier. ALT+LEAD DOES NOT share phone numbers with any third-party vendors or affiliates for marketing purposes.
Opting Out of SMS Conversational Text Messaging
If at any time you wish to stop receiving SMS conversational text messages from our staff, you can opt out by:
Texting STOP to opt-out
Texting UNSUBSCRIBE to opt-out
Texting CANCEL to opt-out
Texting QUIT to opt-out
Please note that the opt-out process may take up to 10 business days to become effective. During this period, you may still receive SMS conversational text messages from individual staff you have texted with in the past.
Changes to this Policy
We may periodically update this policy. We will notify you about significant changes in the way we treat your information by placing a prominent notice on our site.
